The team of Mike Bailey, Don Kaufman and Tim Winehandle caught an 11.63-pounder, the biggest walleye of the 2006 Tough Man Tourney, which was held on April 22 at Alcova Reservoir.

The second-largest walleye was also a dandy -- 9.93 pounds -- caught by the team of Brandon Miller, Jason Brown and Calvin Fenton.

Biggest trout honors went to the team of Daniel Reedy, Cory Bauer and Tombra Brewer with a 5.28-pounder.

Here are the top finishers in the tourney:

Largest walleye team: Mike Bailey, Don Kaufman, Tim Winehandle 11.63 pounds.
Second largest walleye team: Brandon Miller, Jason Brown, Calvin Fenton, 9.93.
Third and Fourth largest walleye team: Tom Brown, Virgil Brown, Tim Jenner, 5.13 and 4.37.
Fifth largest walleye team: Harold Mason, Tyler Mason, Patrick Mason, 3.57.

Largest trout team: Daniel Reedy, Cory Bauer, Tombra Brewer, 5.82 pounds.
Second largest trout team: Harol Mason Tyler Mason, Patrick Mason.
Third largest trout team: Rob Davis, Casey Davis, Colter Davis.




Walter, Brugger win
Pro Team Circuit Division crown

Casper anglers Rick Walter and Bruce Brugger won the Lowrance sponsored Pro Team Walleye Circuit's Division II title with consistent finishes in tournaments on Minnesota's Big Stone Lake and North Dakota's Devils Lake.

Walter and Brugger were ninth at Big Stone and fourth at Devils Lake. Their points total of 178.415300 edged the 174.385246 points amassed by the runnerup team of North Dakotans Eric Hanson and Richard Lesmann. Casper anglers John Green and Brandon Green finished third with 157.411202 points.

JOHNSON, GREEN WIN $50,000
PRO TEAM TOURNEY TITLE AT LAKE SHARPE

PIERRE, S.D. - Wyoming anglers Joe Johnson and John Green faced a 20-team field packed with South Dakota talent in the finals on Lake Sharpe on May 8. But it didn't matter. The pair from Casper still came out on top of the Lowrance-sponsored Pro Team Walleye Circuit tournament on the South Dakota lake to win the $50,000 first prize.

Johnson and Green weighed in 13.93 pounds for six walleyes to take the championship by 1.60 pounds ahead of Gerrick McComsey and Max Sheets, of Fort Pierre, S.D., with 12.33 pounds. McComsey and Sheets won $9,400.

Close behind in third place was the Pierre, S.D., team of Reid Widvey and Craig Anbach with 12.08 pounds for $6,950 while Pierre's Matt Lyon and Scott Pitlick wound up in fourth with 11.69 pounds for $6,750.

The tournament paid out more than $116,000 in cash and prizes to the top 20 teams, which qualified for fishing on Championship Saturday by leading the 53-team field after the first two days of tournament fishing.

The Pro Team Walleye Circuit will also hold a Sept. 9, 10 and 11 tournament on South Dakota's Big Stone Lake. The circuit is co-sponsored by Western Walleye Magazine.
